As a responsible manufacturer, Ex-pack has adapted on environmentally friendly manufacturing process and has taken steps to identify and control their environmental impact and constantly improve their environmental performance. Hence they were awarded the ISO 14001-2015 Environment Management System Certification by SGS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
FSC Certificate
Sustainability being the main focus of Expack, we have embarked in obtaining our raw materials from FSC Certified Suppliers, thus have obtained the Forest Stewardship Council – Chain of Custody (FSC-COC) certification under code FSC 154000. FSC Promotes sustainable and responsible forestry practices by setting global standards, addressing environmental and social concerns and providing market incentives for businesses to adopt responsible management practices.
Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP)
Ex-pack is the first and only Corrugated Carton manufacturer in Sri Lanka to receive the prestigious Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) certification. This is awarded by an independent, objective, non- profit team of global social compliance experts dedicated to promoting safe, lawful, humane and ethical manufacturing around the world through certification and education. The certification ensures that all Ex-pack products are manufactured under stipulated conditions, which cover not only ethical labour, but health and safety, environmental protection and supply chain security as well.
Carbon Neutral Certification 2024
On a quest to minimize and mitigate the impact of its operations on the environment, Expack initiated to obtain the Carbon Neutral certification in 2023 and reaffirming its unwavering commitment towards pursuing actions that are essential to combat climate change.
TAG recognition by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka
The TAGs Compliance Badge is a recognition from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) for organizations that demonstrate excellence in financial and non-financial reporting, based on Transparency, Accountability, Governance, Sustainability, and Digitalization. It was launched by CA Sri Lanka to acknowledge and promote corporate commitment to these core principles.
The National Chamber of Exporters (NCE) Certificate of Ethical Trading (CET)
a certification awarded to Sri Lankan member exporters by the NCE, recognizing their adherence to good, fair, and responsible practices in trade, labor, ethics, environment, and society. The certification, which is independently verified, serves to enhance a company’s credibility with international buyers, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable and ethical business operations, and boosting Sri Lanka’s reputation as a responsible global trading partner.
